报告题目：Improving Construction Trade Productivity through Lean Thinking

报告摘要：The construction process is a complex combination of various tasks aimed at accomplishing a project. The efficiency and effectiveness of these tasks can be measured through construction productivity, a ratio of output over input. Waste, of the various input resources involved in the construction process, is an integral part of this process. Construction projects can suffer from a loss of productivity due to various disruptions. Loss of construction productivity refers to a deviation in the productivity actually observed on a construction site from the productivity that might reasonably have been estimated and a disruption refers to any event occurring on-site that unfavorably affects construction productivity through converting a higher percentage of “input” into waste rather than the finished project. This presentation discusses the critical construction trades, factors affecting the productivity of critical construction trades, and the Lean techniques that can be applied to enhance the productivity of critical construction trades.
报告人简介：张学清博士现为香港科技大学土木及环境工程学系副教授，获香港大学博士学位和加拿大阿尔伯塔大学(University of Alberta)博士学位。张学清博士曾在原河南省计划经济委员会和水利部黄河水利委员会工作多年。主要学术研究兴趣包括成果导向型教育，项目管理与项目融资，施工管理，建筑及基础设施资产管理，地下空间管理与利用，运筹学、管理信息系统和计算机仿真。张学清博士是《建筑、工程与建设国际学报》(International Journal of Architecture, Engineering and Construction)主编。
